Wise Publishing is hiring a Performance Marketing Specialist to support our paid advertising strategy focused on CPA and CPL monetization.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced ad buyer who can handle ongoing campaign optimization and platform testing. You are an independent thinker and worker who knows when to lean on your colleagues for support, and who can juggle competing priorities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop media buying strategy based on revenue and profit-based KPIs
  • Build effective and engaging ad creatives across multiple platforms
  • Launch and manage campaigns across platforms
  • Perform regular analysis and optimization of campaigns
  • Manage ongoing optimization of landing pages and content strategy
  • Compile, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and expose new opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Development, Editorial, and Revenue departments and company leadership to recommend optimization, tooling, and reporting to improve campaign performance
  • Actively communicate to company stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Skilled with multiple paid social platforms and/or content rec platforms
  • Highly skilled with Facebook Ads and Google AdWords
  • Experience designing, managing, and optimizing campaigns focused on CPA or CPL revenue growth at a positive ROI
  • Proficiency with analyzing marketing datasets and making data-driven decisions
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Familiarity with Google Optimize
  • Articulate communication style and adaptable team-focused worker
  • Previous experience working on Personal Finance products a huge plus
  • Some knowledge of SEO optimization tactics a plus

Editorial Operations Manager

About The Role

Wise Publishing is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Operations Manager to support our Editorial team in content production and project management. This individual would be responsible for ensuring that all planning, scheduling, and resource allocation is completed on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, including directly managing the writer schedule, the editorial calendar, and all editorial projects. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and clients on content production and planning projects, ensuring that we are accurately measuring resource availability and tracking resource allocation, in order to produce deliverables on time and to expectations.

The goal for this position is to build a well-organized and efficient Editorial team with a clear mandate for each team member, to develop processes around planning that help editors and writers understand their team’s capacity, and to leverage data and insights to create channels for additional transparency around editorial output.

The editor will work with our editorial team to build out engaging investing and insurance content with a strong consumer focus. We are looking for a journalist who can handle a challenging workload and provide significant editorial insight.

This role reports to the Sr. Vice President of Operations, but will collaborate closely with the Director of Content Monetization, the Editor in Chief, and the Senior Editing staff.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Editorial team in production of all content
  • Develop and implement processes and tracking strategies
  • Streamline work via capacity planning and internal coordination
  • Communicate with external and internal stakeholders and clients
  • Oversee planning and resource allocation for all editorial projects and tasks, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and within requirements
  • Provide regular reporting on productivity, outputs, and results
  • Identify department and project risks and opportunities on an ongoing basis
  • Support the HR team in the hiring, onboarding and training process of all new employees in the Editorial department
  • Manage, train and oversee the Editorial interns

Qualifications

  • Strong operational skills, including analytical ability

We are seeking a senior media buyer. Reporting to the Sr Manager of Digital Marketing, the senior media buyer will optimize our media buys and grow our revenue. This role will achieve this by:

  • Buying media with a positive ROAS
  • Optimizing media processes for ROAS growth
  • Assist in coaching the media buying team

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented and motivated co-op marketing intern for our Toronto office. In this role, you will participate in marketing editorial content on digital advertising platforms such as Snapchat, Facebook, and Taboola.

This role is a paid, part time, fixed-term fall internship (October through December) and reports to the Marketing Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Launching and managing ad campaigns across multiple digital advertising platforms.

    Ad Operations Manager

    About The Role

    We are seeking a dynamic Ad Operations expert. The role requires someone with special attention to detail and who is operational minded. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of executing digital ad campaigns to meet performance goals. They have expertise within the digital advertising landscape (primarily display programmatic) and will bring lift to monetization on all Wise Publishing, Inc. web properties. This individual must be a strategic and creative thinker, a self-starter, and a collaborator willing to learn and share ideas.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Implement processes, systems and standard methodologies
    • Monitor and solve campaign-related issues; test/troubleshoot new ad products
    • Build, flight, QA, and optimize advertising campaigns
    • Use creative problem-solving skills and internal and external data to optimize campaigns towards client performance goals (such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, ROI)
    • Show flexibility and willingness to handle miscellaneous operational tasks and advertiser requests
    • Develop and enforce a structured QA system
    • Vet and onboard new programmatic demand partners
    • Provide daily, weekly and monthly analysis related to ad and partner performance
    • Create and document best practices on campaign set up including review of placements, bids and rates, etc.
    • Execute and lead technical troubleshooting of programmatic display and video

    Required Experience & Qualifications:

    • 3-5 Years of experience in advertising operations

    • Expertise in online advertising ecosystem
    • Strong knowledge of campaign lifecycle management, ad sales process, trafficking, QA, performance analytics
