About The Role

The DevOps Analyst will build, test and maintain best practice infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and stable release of software. They will be working closely with our Product Development, QA, and BI teams to support SDLC activities and to enable development team success.

This role reports to the Director of Product Delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and setting up new, best practice development tools and infrastructure.
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to the development team.
  • Conceive and develop CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications.
  • Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results.
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Ensuring the up-time of internal products and applications.
  • Monitoring and debugging technical issues relating to the functioning of our web properties.
  • Working with software developers engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
  • Planning out infrastructure projects and being involved in project management decisions.

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields from a recognized educational institution.
  • 2+ years working in a similar role, preferably within an AGILE environment in the SaaS, Marketing, and/or web publishing industry.
  • Knowledge of key programming languages.
  • Working knowledge of web servers, monitoring software, performance tracking and routine server maintenance.
  • Strong competence in a wide variety of CI/CD technologies.
